Jeju is more than a landscape. It is an inner image, formed by countless memories, emotions and thoughts laid down layer upon layer. The blue sea and the wind, stone and moon, wildflowers and light meet each person's life, grow into new stories, and settle in the heart as a landscape of its own.
Jeju Artists Special Exhibition: Where the Eyes Linger, Jeju presents five artists who look at Jeju and reinterpret its landscapes and emotional worlds through their own eyes and sensibilities. Each artist captures Jeju's nature, memories and traces of time in a distinct visual language, unfolding a familiar island with a fresh sensibility.
The exhibition begins with Jeju as a real place, but ultimately turns toward the inner landscapes shaped by the artists' memories and emotions. Unfolding in different forms, the works offer visitors a deep resonance and a time for quiet reflection.
We hope that Where the Eyes Linger, Jeju will be a special experience for visitors to Jeju Dream Tower—a chance to encounter Jeju's many landscapes and moods anew through art, and to make the moments of their journey all the richer.
